Breeze, New York providing Rochester Area fishing reports, lodging and
travel information and species and seasonal information on Salmon, Steelhead,

water for good spring fishing. Summer fishing includes good catches
of Salmon, Steelheads, and Lake Trout. Browns can be caught closer to
shore. Fall brings the legendary runs of King Salmon and Cohos.
The captains on this site each have more than 25 years of fishing
experience on Lake Ontario.
Our combined site provides fishing information and fishing reports
for both ports. It also provides lodging and travel information for
extended stays and recreational opportunities when the fishing day is
done.
Being centrally located on Lake Ontario, Rochester New York and Pt.
Breeze New York have provided consistent fish catching opportunities
on Lake Ontario year after year.
The month of April brings the early brown trout into the shallows
to feed on the early spawning baitfish. May brings in more browns as
well as the spring Kings who now are working the shallow waters of the
lake with a vengeance. We also start to see schools of steelhead as the
off shore waters of the lake start to warm and provide us with thermal
bars and temperature breaks on the surface of the lake. Last but not
least we start to see good numbers of Lake trout as they go on a feeding
binge to put the pounds back on after a long winter.
June, July and August bring us schools of the largest predatory fish
in Lake Ontario - the Chinook Salmon or The King Salmon.
These monsters range anywhere from 10 to 15lbs in the spring to over
40 lbs of tackle busting power and line breaking size in the summer
and fall months. September brings the spawning runs of salmon in the
Genesee and Oak Orchard Rivers. September also brings the chance to
land a record brown trout as these fish are now on a feeding binge to
be ready for their fall spawning runs. We are constantly updating our
fishing equipment as well as using the latest and best fishing electronics
available today. Put this together with membership on many prostaffs
and you have an opportunity for an above average fishing experience.
Enjoy a great day on the water in our comfortable and beamy charterboats.
You won't feel crowded or cramped. And when the lake gets a little rough
you will enjoy a comfortable ride. We furnish all of the latest and best
rods, reels and tackle to bring you a memorable trip. Give us a call
and make your reservations early in the season as many of our dates are
re-booked by satisfied customers year after year.
